Pioneer MVH-X560BT Review - very pretty little machine with a big sound

Cracking stereo for the dollars. Even though the stereo fees sub-100 quid, i positive as heck wasn't heading to have faith in myself with fitting it. Guaranteed, i have fitted all my outdated stereos in my previous cars, but now i have a pleasant auto, i will not fancy terminal block connecting all the things as i am a lazy stereo fitter. Increase to that the cost of the connects2 wiring harness for the steering wheel controls, that was a different £45.

  Hi. I was thinking the same thing. But, as you can get 512gb or more usb drives, there is little point in going down that road! I have looked through the manual, there doesn't seem to be a max capacity for usb listed, but it can handle upto 500 folders, in FAT 12, 16 or 32 file systems. So if you are having one folder per artist or per album, you have a potential 500 artists or albums. I am using a 64gb stick encoded using mp3 at 320 Kbps joint stereo and the sound quantity is very good. I have so far 66 folders and no problems at 10.5 gb usage, so we'll see how it goes as I add more. Hope this helps!
• I have a 6 cd changer in the boot. for the fact that this unit does not have a cd player, can the cd changer get hooked into this unit for playing?
  I don't think so. The unit has an AUX input on the rear (in addition to the USB) so can take anything that can output analogue audio, but I think the old IP-BUS connections for things like CD changers are long gone, for sure I don't remember seeing one on the back. The manual is available online, top search result if you Google the model number and "Manual", no mention in there of CD Changers. This head unit works really well with an iPod in the glovebox and/or streaming via Bluetooth from a smartphone. If you decide you are ready to make the switch to that type of setup it's a great buy.
• Hi. Are the physical controls robust enough to be operated accurately in a shaking vehicle? (I want to fit this in an expedition Land Rover.)
  Skip track and volume are large and easy to operate the rest of the buttons are quite small.

  It does, it works very well.

  Not that I'm aware of. That being said I've never noticed the brightness being overbearing but there is 4 settings of brightness. Hope this helps.
