Pioneer AVH-X3700DAB Review - Great unit. Arrived quickly

Excellent cost, delivery a tiny longer but okay for the reason that of the rate. Dab aerial included, mic mounted and usb in glove box wherever i hook up my apple iphone six.

I have a reversing camera that displays when reverse equipment is chosen. My major issue the absence of a ability switch.

Bought this item for my camper van as i liked the connectivity options it promised. I bought this item for my camper van as i liked the connectivity options it promised, including video out and reversing camera inputs. After 2 months use here is what it's actually delivered:1) ipod connectivity works, but is slow for browsing on a large music collection (100 gig plus). Additionally, my ipod classic regularly crashes and reboots itself when connected to this unit, something it never did on the alpine unit i used previously or on anything else i connect it to. 2) mtp connectivity to my android phone (galaxy note 3) does not work at all, it connects but simply sits there reading "format read"3) the appradio connection via usb starts up on the note3, you can use the music app to see the music stored on the phone, but it plays muted - no sound at all.

And then crashes with screen artefacts which require you to restart the unit. 4) i bought a large usb thumb drive to use instead of the phone or ipod, but this works out pretty much unusable too - tracks are displayed in the order they were copied to the disk, which is random - and there is no option to sort them. There is an option to create a database that supposedly indexes them but this function completes without apparently writing anything. You have to manually download a fat32 sorting tool, and run that every time you add something new to it. Additionally, browsing the drive contents is so slow as to be virtually unusable.

  Hi there, I use my iPhone 6, iPad 3 and iPod Touch 4 on my unit and they all work fine with everything displaying on the head unit. I connect via the USB cable so that they stay charged and it doesn't affect the Bluetooth connection whether the iPhone 6 is connected by cable or not. All in all, I'm extremely happy with this unit, it functions well, is intuitive to use and is miles easier than the Pioneer unit it replaced. I have it in a Motorhome and it is connected to the central unit for video and my reversing camera and handles everything. This is the way head units should be!!
• Anyone used this with an Android phone? I have a Samsung S5 and wondered it the googlemaps navigation or the tomtom app would mirror onto the screen?
  Hi yes the android system will mirror the google maps app. i havent tried it with an s5, but i use my HTC one M8
